Since we may have an abbreviated October meeting, I want to put a discussion issue on the forum so you can thing about it. Rich P had a president's meeting recently, and one of the topics we discussed was the MNSTAR website. Alan created this website, and we learned he has been paying for it too. Rich asked if the chapters would be willing to split this cost going forward. My questions for 292 are:

1. Are we willing to help pay the cost for the state website? The approximate cost for 292 would be $118 for a two year period.
2. Do we want to move our forum/website onto the state website as 444 has done? Our forum uses the same software so our forum history can all move right over. That way we could save the $ we spend on our stand-alone website. Our website/forum would still have separate passwords etc.  If we move to the state website, Alan is willing to be webmaster, or Chris can continue to be our webmaster.

Here are my thoughts on this:
1. I think we should make this decision before we pay to renew our website and domain name, etc.
2. It makes sense to me to help fund the state website because I think it serves a purpose, and it is only fair for us to help pay for it.
3. Our use of our website is pretty minimal, and it would save the chapter some $ and Chris some time to switch.

Think about it and we can discuss when we get together.
