We will meet at Koch?s Korner at the intersection of Highways 55 and 19 near Loretto by 10:15. The plan is to saddle up at 10:30 and ride the back roads to Sleepy Eye where we will stop for lunch at Hardee?s Restaurant at about 12:30. From there it is only 45 minutes to the petroglyphs site.

If anyone from the Marshall Chapter wants to meet us at the petroglyphs site, I estimate our arrival time to be around 2:00.

If there are more than just a few of us I should give the Jeffer?s Park staff a heads up. So if you plan to join us on this ride please respond to this post so I can get an idea of how many of us will be there.

Also, there is an $8.00 entrance fee.

First, I'd like to thank Brian for organizing and leading this ride. It was very interesting and makes me wonder what is still under the ground not yet studied.

Secondly, I owe the 292 members on the ride, especially Jerry Kellen, a sincere apology for my melt down at the gas station on the way home. It was inappropriate, uncalled for and not my normal riding behavior . Hopefully there will be another opportunity for me to ride with all of you and prove it.

Thanks Brian for leading us down to the site. What a great day for a ride!

I must admit I grew up not far from the site and rode by the signs for the petroglyphs a hundred times, but never stopped to check it out. I guess I'll have to start paying more attention to the "points of interest" on the side of the road.

PS Nice bike  8)
