I booked a room with 2 beds at the Apple Blossom Inn in Eureka for Wednesday, September 6, Thursday the 7th and Friday the 8th. I am OK with sharing the room with someone. The first two places I checked were booked solid for that same weekend. It turns out their busiest time of year is September and October. If you are interested in going I would suggest that you book a room now. You can always cancel later, up to 72 hours before your reservation. The cost is $64.00 per night. I think a good meeting place would be the Holiday gas station at highway 96 and 35W. From there it's just a straight shot down 35. We just have to decide if we want to leave before or after rush hour.
